Solution-Pac for WAN is made of 4 modules, available for the most popular operating systems that can be combined in the most powerful mix in the industry:

• UM Agent enables the communication between a UPS and the network. The UPS will share the IP address of the network device.

• UM Client is installed on each server that needs protection. It triggers the traps received from UM Agent and will launch any preset automatic actions like a system shutdown or an alert to a a pager or eMail address.

• UM Server will fan out the traps received from UM Agent to up to 64 servers. You can cascade several UM Servers to protect server farms with thousands of servers.

• UM Console will let you monitor any UPS on the network from a Windows PS or HP/UX.
