The SYLVANIA QUICKTRONIC Professional Series system family has been expanded to include new dimming ballasts for T8 and T5HO fluorescent lamps. QUICKTRONIC HELIOS T8 versions operate up to four FO17, FO25, FO32 and U-bend OCTRON T8 lamps, and PHO 54 DIM operates one or two 54W PENTRON HO lamps.
Both QUICKTRONIC dimming systems operate by 0-10 Vdc control and incorporate an auto-protect feature to safeguard the ballast if the control wires are connected to line voltage. HELIOS systems dim over a range from 100-5% (100-10% for 4-lamp ballast) and PHO-DIM systems can dim continuously from 100-1%. PHO-DIM also features PROStartTM, programmed rapid starting and QUICKSENSE
end of lamp life sensing technology.
